Chuckin
A popular activity in Kuru-Bey requiring some Kep'Em. It's a little like skipping stones, but a lot more like chuckin Kep'Em.
You find a good high spot; we each had our favorite. For quick games, you climbed a tree, of popped on someone's roof. For bigtime Chuckin though, there were some really special places.
Sometimes it's for distance, sometimes it's for a target, sometimes it's for tricks.
You sidearm the little fellas and they spread their arms out and make a whistley sound. And they'll curl up again, and spread out again... it really does look like skipping stones in the sky.
The little buggers love this, by the way. They are wild animals, but they'll run right back to you to get thrown again. You have to dunk 'em in water to get em to leave you alone when your done chuckin.
They do the same kind of thing on their own to hunt or escape... but they can only get going so fast themselves. So they frickin love getting chucked. And when they get going fast they'll do little spins and corkscrews, like a porpoise on the wake of a ship's prow. Amazing stuff.
