Opening at The Nurse
Todd and Koda meet us at the nurse
Arcadius passed out from seeing Hanna's blood (maybe?)
In the interest of acting quickly, we all (minus Arc) head to the clock tower to follow the trail of the vampire that Maude chased.
"Reclaim"-ing the Clocktower
We flew up to the top of the clocktower and found a magical barrier and runes carved in (not built in to the architecture, but scratched in well after construction)
Koda has a vision and sees back in time to witness that the word spoken was
"Reclaim"
We Enter
Koda spoke the word as she recounted her vision and immediately disappeared!
- she found herself in a sort of pocket dimension that looked like a victorian library inside the clocktower
- and she sees a guy looking out the clock face, which is transparent from inside.
She goes to grab some books as the rest of the team enters, in turn
Confrontation
Maude appears and knocks a books down and the bad guy turns
Todd backs up Maude
He says "grovel" like a command word
Hiding
Koda is hiding behind some books
Myles is hiding near an old smoking chair with a nearby wine glass with a "red liquid" and a stogie
The fight
After a hot second, we all go to battle with the Vampire and his two thralls.
Myles blasts him with wind from my Broom
Vampire becomes a swarm of bats
vampire jabbed in the legs and can't move.
Vampire commands to grovel and Myles collapses
Koda kills him! with a magic thorn weapon
two thralls go blank (Todd (I think) eventually kills the thralls)
Koda stitches Todd up
- turns invisible for 1hr
- activation word "sanguine"
- Recharges once/week
Maude grabs the vampire's still unlocked trak-phone for Arcadius
We take Todd to the clinic
We speak quickly to Mr Dr Jordan Richards who books us for a conversation Tuesday afternoon
Maude goes to talk to Kari
I think Maude shares this the next day, but she broke it off with Kari... because Maude is literally too dirty for it to ever work.

(I now KNOW) Maude casts something so we know when someone enters the murder hut. Not who just that someone did.
We start to learn a little more about Koda
She grew up in an orphanage
